Meteorological warnings
Meteorological warnings in Poland are released by by Institute of Meteorology and Water Management - National Research Institute (http://pogodynka.pl/ostrzezenia). Depending on the intensiveness, phenomena are described in levels from 1 to 3. The highest level means that dangerous phenomena will cause considerable and disastrous damages as well as danger to life. Warnings chiefly concern strong wind and intense precipitations (rain or snow), limited visibility, or lightning, but also thaws or icing. Regarding human life and economy, information about freezes and heat waves is equally important.
