Atmospheric air monitoring
The assessment of air quality may be carried out after the collection of information on the types and quantities and substances introduced into the environment and their concentrations in atmospheric air. 3 main measurement methods can be distinguished:
- Bioindication
- Indicator methods
- Specific measurement methods
Choosing the appropriate method of obtaining environmental data depends on the purpose of measurement, the required time and spatial resolution, the time variation of the analyzed impurities, the required precision of the determinations.
Air monitoring primarily refers to the amount of pollutants in the environment, referred to as immision.
